Reporting a correction

This is the most useful thing you can send us.

Rates change, programs change, and an article accurate in March can be wrong by September. If you spot something out of date or simply wrong, tell us. It helps to include:

• The article URL
• The specific figure or claim
• What it should say, and where you saw the correct information

We correct errors on the page and update the last-updated date rather than quietly deleting or rewriting without acknowledgment. If you sent the correction and want credit, say so and we will note it.

Suggesting a topic

If there’s a money question you couldn’t find a straight answer to, that’s exactly the kind of thing worth covering. The gaps we’re most interested in are questions where the popular answer is incomplete, or where every page ranking for it is selling something.

No promises on timing, and we don’t take payment to cover a topic.

To save time: we don’t publish sponsored posts, paid guest posts, link insertions, or paid reviews, and we don’t sell placements in roundups or “best of” lists. Editorial coverage is not for sale at any price, and pitches offering payment for a link will not receive a reply.

What we can’t help with

Personal financial advice. We can’t tell you which Medicare plan to choose, whether to pay off your loan or invest, or what to do with your savings. Not because we’re being difficult, but because the answer depends on your income, health, state, tax situation, and obligations to other people, and getting it wrong with incomplete information could cost you a great deal.

For Medicare specifically, your State Health Insurance Assistance Program provides free counseling from people who earn no commission on your decision. For investments and taxes, a fee-only adviser or a licensed accountant is paid by you rather than by a product.

Account problems on other platforms. We’re not affiliated with Roblox, any insurer, any brokerage, or any government agency. We can’t recover an account, reverse a purchase, unblock a DevEx request, or resolve a claim. Those go to the company involved.
